Which Way Did He Go?

I seem to have an ability to find and photograph empty footgear.
These items were outside a leather shop.
I wonder if the owner ever came back for them.

Days Gone By

This barn leans a little more each year. The land's for sale and it probably won't be long before another relic vanishes. The asters will be replaced by lawn or parking lot and I'll stop wondering who the people were and what their lives were like when the haymow once was full.

It took me years to get used to not being in Washington State anymore. I think when I took this picture of a driveway down the mountain I began to appreciate the area. It could use some volcanoes, though - and more waterfalls. Natural lakes would be nice.

Where is the Child?

I was with a friend near the North Carolina/Tennessee border when I saw these. No one was around. I'm sure there's more to the story,
but, as with many stories, I don't know the outcome.
